Bloomberg's Chart of the Day makes me think of one of my favorite Yiddish words, ungapachken. It is a combination of 'over the top' and plain old 'ugly.'

It tries to be two things at once: a bar chart showing what will affect U.K. GDP, and another bar chart showing projected a GDP. It includes the second bar chart by shifting the y axis height. It's hard to see either data series because the other gets in the way.
It also has that weird black background. I mean, why?
How would you you improve it?
I'd love to help you understand how to use data visualization to communicate clearly, and to understand it well for business, and in particular, for the relevant section of the GMAT. Please don't be a stranger! Get in touch with me here.
I want to help you become better at telling stories with data, and an star reader and critic of others' stories.
